Dr. Cynthia Schade graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985. She became a chiropractor because she perceived chiropractic as the best accepted "holistic natural healing" profession. While she is truly concerned with helping relieve patient's symptomatology of pain, she also concerns herself with providing additional services to help the clinic's patients attain and maintain the best health and well-being possible.
Dr. Schade’s studies included Neuromuscular Reeducation, the Graston Technique®, Bio Cranial, as well as advanced chiropractic techniques. She was a participant in the FDA study on Cold Laser Therapy for Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. Her current emphasis is on helping people discover and overcome food allergies (which increases their overall health and improves their immunity), identifying nutritional supplement needs (through scientific testing), and helping people lose weight if they so desire. She also has extensive experience working with the elderly.
Dr. Schade established Active Life Chiropractic Clinic on West 6th St. in 1991. In 2007, she helped establish Let It Go Weight Loss Services, L.L.C., a weight loss program based on Body Restoration Technique principles combined with scientifically based food allergy identification to help people lose weight by finding healthy programs that work for them.
Dr. Schade’s hobbies and activities include yoga, free-form dance, watching live music, seeing plays, weight training and spending time with friends and family. One of the things she enjoys about Austin is that she is constantly running into people she has known for years, and has treated through the various changes in the patient's life. |
