| The
following directions work -- practically all the time! Be aware there
is a lot of construction going on all around us (is it everywhere in
Austin these days?!), but ignore it. Even when there appear to be
obstacles, they will be moved for you if you just indicate where you
are trying to go. We apologize for any inconvenience. We look forward
to meeting you!
Directions from MoPac (Loop 1): Exit Mopac on 5th Street, head east (it's a one-way street) and make the fifth left onto Pressler. Look for our red rectangular sign with the arrow at that corner. Halfway up the block, before you get to 6th Street, turn right into the alley (the alley is just past the the construction site). After entering the alley, on your left, you will see our gravel parking lot, with a sign saying "ALC Parking." Walk up to the front entrance on 6th Street, using either the stairs to your right or the driveway to your left.
Directions from I-35 (or downtown): Exit 6th Street, head west (it's a one-way street), cross Lamar. After going through the signal light at Blanco Street, you will pass a big orange "Public Storage" sign on the left followed by the green "Bella" building. We are the FIRST of the old homes on the left that have been turned into offices. You will see our 3-figure colorful metal sculpture in the front yard and our sign. Two streets later, take a left on Oakland. Turn left into the alley mid block, cross Pressler, continue down the alley and, as it appears to end, turn left into our gravel parking lot, where the "ALC Parking" sign directs you. Come up the stairs on your right or the driveway on your left and into the front door.
From Lamar: Turn on to 6th Street heading west (it's a one-way street). Refer to directions above.
Additional Note: If unable to use the stairs or walkway, you may ring the bell located at the back door.
